Peace In the Valley Once Again

This just in........hold on to your seats........One Mister Robert Ohm is officially starting the new growth of what may become one fantastic mountain of a mustache!!!! It's been decades since his long whiskers have made an appearance on this earth. In short, one trip to Austin, one new idea, three crazy minutes, three equally crazy film makers and the decline of western civilization. The anticipation is killing me.

Success!

Thanks to all that came out Tuesday night. Everything went down without a hitch and our video was definitely a crowd pleaser. We'll be sure to announce our next movie showing so be sure to stop by often.

THIS JUST IN------------
Kelly's mother is getting married April 30th! Working on seeing if she needs photos and video for the big day.

Upgrades

This was a weekend of technical upgrades for LettuceTurnip. New hardware based encoding for VHS to DVD transfer, two new harddrives added to one of the custom computers (newly partitioned for slides, VHS, music, DVD composition, and more) new firewire and usb 2.0 ports installed, and much more. Transferred a VHS tape of student films shot in Taiwan to DVD. There are definitely some interesting bits in that one. I particularly enjoyed the music video with the King of Rock and the Devil.
Tomorrow night is Eggs. We still haven't decided where to meet up before the showing. Looks like we'll be meeting downtown somewhere for drinks. Check back soon for updates!

The site has been updated with new clickable pics. Check it out!

Bagah, Bagah

Chicken sounds, stream of conscience word play, narration from a man possessed. Richard Ricks does it again. The man the myth the cool customer. We got something, oh yeah.
Dave Farris on Saturday to blend it all together so you will never think of eggs the same way again. Good night all.

Weekend of March 12th

It is a go for the wedding on Saturday. Finalizing details this weekend. Need to put some photos on website to showcase. And yes the Eggman and I are going to throw down some scary narration for the film this evening. Should be interesting.

Upcoming Events

This Evening - working with the Eggman for voice over audio track to Eggs
Additionally, installing the track system keeping in mind the need for space for chains for photos in the studio.
Saturday - music audio track for Eggs at associate's audio studio
Next Weekend - Film/photo for wedding

Track System Shipped

Somewhere in Dallas at this very moment is the long anticipated track system ordered back in November... A half dozen calls and a dozen emails later, it has shipped from New York and scheduled to arrive on Thursday (not Wednesday; oops)!

Blind Soundtrack

This Saturday is crunch time for the lettuce turnip team. Creating blindly a wholly original and chilling soundtrack to the now legendary short film "Eggs"

Using ambient sounds, found sounds and original music and narration, it should be a sight to hear.

What will they do?

Website Changes

Added section "More LettuceTurnip" to site and fixed some grammar errors. Still need to make site less image heavy, make More Information on index.html match "More LettuceTurnip", and make "Some Services" area cleaner and prettier. Will put up new pictures that are clickable soon as well.
